LOCKDOWN DAY 10 (Sunday) ~ Today was super special, because we were connected to our church meeting, streamed to us via our cellphones. If it wasn't for my grandson's generous gift of his Smart TV recently, and for our better-quality cellphones, we would never have been able to watch a church session like this from the comfort of our home. This weekend was our very first time we really appreciated the true blessing of technology to bring our church services to us and we loved sharing that spiritual time together.  We needed it.

The weekend before our lockdown, my second son and family invited us to their house for a home-based church service, because our physical church was already on lockdown, to prevent the spread of the virus, to protect our members and their families. I was so touched by how beautifully, my son, daughter in law and grandchildren conducted the meeting. We all kept our distance from each other... no hugs and squeezes... but we were together and I was so proud of my family for doing such a tremendous job of it and for being so kind to include us.  It’s a memory I will forever cherish.

I'm soooooo looking forward to: The return of LOVING HUGS

LOCKDOWN DAY 11 ~ There seemed to be a lot of housework today (I've never enjoyed housework, but I HAVE TO HAVE ORDER, especially now with my son here full time, so no option! It feels never ending right now when I have other things I MUST DO... like my book and arty-creative things that I'm longing to do)… but we still managed to make time to do some important gardening. My son filled my small pots with compost and in each, depending on size, I planted one seed in the center and three or four around the edges and then watered them. Nothing grows as well in pots as they do in the garden, but they will still supply something worth throwing in a salad or stew, etc., so why not use the pots anyway if we can... and we CAN, so we DID! 😁

Thanks so much for being here.

Since as far back as I can remember, family, friends, complete strangers and strangely even animals (birds included) have come to me for help and comfort and I have always felt the calling to be there for others in any way that I possibly can.
